Important topics for JEE Mains Physics

Important Topics for JEE Mains-You must be wondering that how can few topics can fetch you great marks in JEE Mains. JEE try to ask on topics on which research is currently going on. Like modern physics with at least 5 question per year.

Read this blog full otherwise you may loose the opportunity to do well in JEE Mains Physics.

With JEE Main less than 6 months away, one of the hot questions is how to score more marks? What are the most important topics for JEE Mains? Where can I get more marks by putting in the same effort?

A lot of students have scored great marks by focusing on these 6 topics.YES! & topics , you heard it right .With these 7 topics you can easily score 80 marks out of 120 in JEE Mains.

Let's begin and join me tell the end!

1. THERMODYNAMICS

An absolute favorite topic of JEE , many question are asked both in JEE Mains & and advanced.
Many questions are asked on heat, heat capacity and you must know how to read and draw graphs.

2.ERRORS & MEASUREMENTS

One question is must from this and sometimes two also. Learn about the instruments , afterall physics is all about experiments. Don't ignore this topic as it is easy and scoring/.

3. SHM & WAVES

Time periods, nodes, anti nodes, closed organ pipe , sound wave, overtone, interference,  etc. You can easily solve questions even if you know the formula. So make a formula sheet and revise it daily.

4. MODERN PHYSICS

JEE - Mains and advanced loves this topic and many questions are asked from it every year. You will get to see at least 3-4 questions easily in JEE Mains. Also pay attention to semiconductor and communications as questions are asked from them only in JEE Mains and they can easily fetch you 8 Marks.

5. GRAVITATION

In JEE Mains every year one easy question sis asked and only solve it by doing NCERTs only. So it is worth doing with respect to effort required.

6. WORK AND ENERY

Questions are asked from this topic and this is also used in other topics like in SHM. Questions are based on energy and are only based on a single formula.
So do it well.

You must be thinking what about kinematics, rotation , centre of mass , laws of motion, all these chapters does not yield much works with that the effort is required.

PRO TIP FOR JEE MAINS-

In rotation you must do moment of inertia only and just few things and don't go deeper if you have time and interest.

In kinematics do NCERT only and you can solve questions if it comes in case.

In Laws of Motion no as such question is asked and it is worth the effort.

INTERESTING FACTS

 In JEE MAINS 2018

  • 4 questions came from Heat and Thermodynamics
  • 4 questions came from SHM and Waves
  • 6 questions came from Modern Physics and Semiconductors
  • 2 questions from Errors and 1 from EM waves

That is more than half of the paper, now you see the importance knowing the topics. For amazing information you subscribe to my blog for free.

Prepare everything, but keep this information in your mind. Time is less and we want to score as much as possible.

How To Stay Motivated For IIT-JEE

Whenever we see something as difficult we tend to stay from that and get motivated and give excuses and tend to quit. IS that what you are made for? To quit? To loose? Ask yourself that why did you started and try to make most out of the opportunities. But please don't make JEE exam of your life. Ha ve you ever found it really hard to pick up a book and study? You know you should study. You know that it’s important. But you just can’t open up a chapter and read. Instead, you watch the patches on the ceiling or look outside the window, check WhatsApp messages and whatever else that comes to your mind. And when you do open the book, you go through the chapter half-heartedly. Like a bonded labourer somehow trying to finish his job. Why? Because you somehow  know  that you wouldn’t qualify. Because you lack the…motivation to study. Maybe you took the JEE once. Or a mock test. And your scores came out to be very poor. Are you the only one who has to go through...
